Cut a tail 12-15”

Using a darning needle thread the tail through the remaining stitches and pull tightly, sew up your angel leaving enough gap at the bottom for stuffing. Stuff your angel, then using another piece of wool tie it around your angel’s neck to create the head.

Cut the tail 3” and tie around middle of wings, this creates the shape.

Sew onto back of your angel, making sure the curved part of the wing is at the top.

I cast on 3 stitches and knitted for about 4” or until it was a decent length to make arms for the angel.

Sew onto your angel, once sewn on, sew the 2 edges of the arms at the front of the angel together or just leave. Add a halo, either a yellow circle of yarn or a bead garland. You can sew on a decoration between the angel’s hands. I chose a button but a star or flower would look lovely too.
